Koreshakti is:
Nicole Richardson
Nicole is the creative director of Koreshakti. She has been creating visual art for many years-and now seeks to become a moving piece of art. She is thankful for support from the local dance community-and hopes to become a permanent installment in Spokanes' dance world. She has studied with Kendra Searls, Cindy Moonbear, Arika Whiteaker, and A'isha Azar.

Sue Christilaw
Sue has been dancing for about five years. She has studied a variety of styles including Classical Egyptian, American Tribal Style, as well as Tribal Fusion. She danced professionally with local ATS troupe Maildoma-and recently became a member of Koreshakti.

Savannah Demers
Savannah Demers has a very artistic and non traditional approach to tribal fusion belly dance. She identifies strongly with dark fusion as a style, but can often be seen adding her melancholy twist to more traditional work as well. She brings her experience as a visual artist and musician to the table to create not simply dances, but whole compositions where costuming, music, and movement work in concert with one another, using her five years of training, practice, and performance as a strong foundation. Savannah has previously dabbled in western European historical dance, Irish step, and enjoyed a long career as a child / teen singer traveling the Renaissance faire circuit country wide. Now she is a belly dancer heart and soul, doing freelance art and design to pay the bills.

Solari Mahirimah
Solari Mahirimah, or just Sola, has been dancing for 22 years, 13 of those dedicated to belly dance. Although she specializes in Tribal Fusion, she has also studied jazz, ballet, tap and oodles of world dances. She loves creating the outfits that go with each performance from scratch, and has won many awards for her costuming. She also teaches private lessons and the occasional workshop.
